	Sheaffer's White Dot Black Ended with Abalone Chips 1930's This particular pen is black with a marbled abalone shell flakes look to main part of barrel. The top and bottom have a space approximately an inch in length where there is no decorative flakes. This area is solid black out to the tips. There is single gold banding around bottom of lid and gold pocket clip. The pen is appox. 4 and 3/4" in length with cap on. The pocket clip reads Sheaffer's going upwardly on the spine. The marking on the pen barrel reads W.A. SHEAFFER PEN CO. FORT MADISON, IOWA U.S.A. PAT. D-78, 795 (or S). The nib reads SHEAFFER'S LIFETIME REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. MADE IN U.S.A. The nib and comb feeder both appear clean. Staggeringly beautiful pen. SOLD
